Coming soon: the most requested feature everÂ

Cost management itself is simple: in Teamleader Focus, you add invoices from suppliers or receipts for costs you’ve incurred. You can do this in several ways:
- Manually: Upload a PDF into Teamleader Focus and enter the invoice details yourself.
- Via OCR scan: Upload a document, and Teamleader Focus will scan it to identify the necessary fields. You can always adjust these fields manually if needed.
- Via mobile: Take a photo of your receipt with the Teamleader Focus mobile app. The next time you log in on your desktop, the receipt will be waiting for you to finalise.
- Via Peppol: Any invoices you receive through Peppol are automatically added to your expenses within Teamleader Focus. A Peppol invoice is formatted in a standardised way that can be read automatically.
The first version of Cost Management primarily focuses on gathering all your expenses in one place and forwarding them to your accountant. But don’t worry—we’re already working on extra features. Think of paying invoices directly from Teamleader Focus, linking costs to specific projects, or generating statistics that give you a better view of your current balance.
"I already have an accountant—why should I manage my expenses in Teamleader Focus?"
Our philosophy is simple: entrepreneurs should be able to stay in control of their expenses. You need to know what you’re earning from your work if you want to run a healthy business. Many entrepreneurs and companies don’t have direct access to their accounting software or lack a central overview of their finances. That’s inefficient and increases the risk of unexpected costs.
By managing your incoming invoices and expenses directly in Teamleader Focus, you’ll gain more control over your financial health—without having to rely on your accountant for day-to-day financial insights.
Combining operational and financial processes in one tool is what Teamleader Focus excels at. The integrated approach to cost management reduces the need for manual work and minimises the risk of errors. This means spending less time on admin and more time focusing on what truly matters: growing your business.
Cost Management in Teamleader Focus is coming your way in April. Keep an eye on your account!
